Besides the poor Eye Catcher with serious colon problem that Katrin sold me...I got messages on fb from other breeders that she has sold kittens with other serious problems like FIP, & other health issues that cost a fortune of vet fees while Katrin only reimbursed a small fraction of cost by finding excuses.
Also she recently used the excuse that she's pregnant to get rid of some older cats (selling to other breeders) but surprisingly she's getting some new expensive cats from catteries such as D' Eden lover....talk about honesty!?

Real Culprit of Eye Catcher's euthanization
Responding to Katrin's unreasonable attack & lie on fb as follow:
"@ Caro and Suss ...thats the poor story as you both know from a boy wich was sold to USA and i have import back and pay the full price and shipping back .... , now this woman think she can have all 3 month again money from me that she not open her bad story in the worldwide web ! Isn`t that crazy ? ... we remember that she have buy a boy wich have a circular anal problem and i have tell her before its a risk to import him .. , but she want to have that boy ..i could kill my self to let him move to USA ! He was going with 17 weeks and 2 kg(4,4 pounds ) and he was come back to me 2 month later come back with 1,3 kg ( 2,9 pounds ) ...... so sad that this boy was going to a woman like her!!!! and even more sad that it was to late for him come back in my hands ... ! Rest in Peace my lovley boy ..."
During Eye Catcher's stay, we tried our very best to take good care of the kitten despite his pooping mess. We consulted vets a few times on what food to feed him. When Eye Catcher was about to return to Katrin, we wrote this email to her telling her diet instruction that could help Eye Catcher as advised by vets, see below:
Eyecatcher is eating about 2-2.5 oz of Wellness Beef/Chicken/Salmon wet food , twice a day (So about 5 oz each day). Because of his constipation, please keep feeding him mainly wet food, and always have plenty of fresh water available. If you cannot get advice from your veterinarian right away, please buy some Metamucil (the original version with no added flavor) for him, because it will help him move his bowels without too much straining.
It would be best to consult your vet before trying this, but we have found that it helps Eyecatcher, maybe not enough though. For his morning meal, we add between 3/8 - 1/2 teaspoon (1.9 - 2.5 mL) of Metamucil, which contains a fiber supplement known as Psyllium husk. Make sure to mix it in with wet food very well, otherwise, he may not eat much of it. Also, water is very important when taking Metamucil, so once again, please have fresh water available. For the evening meal, add 3/8 teaspoon (~1.9 mL)
If the poo-poo is too watery, decrease the amount of Metamucil. If Eyecatcher is still straining a lot and takes more than an hour to finish moving his bowels, please add a little bit more Metamucil to one meal (for example, add another 1/8 teaspoon or less to his evening meal), and wait at least 2 days before deciding to add more, if necessary. When Eyecatcher goes poo-poo, you should isolate him to one area, because it can get very messy.
Please remember to have plenty of fresh water, and seek veterinary advice for other drugs and dietary changes (like a low-residue diet) that could help. Also, getting Eyecatcher to play and exercise helps as well.

After Katrin received the kitten back, she accused us that we starved kitten & made him lose weight, & his coat looked bad. She therefore ignored the feeding instructions we offered to her based on our vets advice, & said it was "pfffft". If she has some common sense, she should know it's hard to gain any weight when a person or an animal is sick. Each day, Eye Catcher had to strain many times to poo ("thanks" to Katrin who caused EC's anal sphincter damage), like a woman giving birth (I have videos that I could show). Regarding his coat, yes we had to trim some coat off around his anal area to make cleaning easier. Seriously, who care about appearance when one is sick? Do you tell your sick friend you're visiting in hospital that her clothing's & makeup were terrible? Health should always come before the coat/ length/volume of fur right?
She's saying on fb that it was too late when Eye Catcher was returned to her & therefore he had to be euthanized due to weight loss??? What a bullshit. According to the germany breeder who Katrin had talked to personally, Eye Catcher was euthanized because his pooping habits & some diarrhea was making the house dirty. Katrin did not want to continue taking care of him.
According to US vets, if Eye Catcher were given around at least 6 months from time of injury to the anal sphincter, the problem may resolve & EC could live a normal life. Katrin was just too self-fish to let him lose his life like that & did not want to spend any money on his vet care . Now she's blaming me to make herself look innocent & to cover up the truth. Seems like she just doesn't want to spend time on taking care of a sick kitten, but she's buying more & more new cats for her breeding program! Clearly all she cares is profit $$$$. She's only in early 30s but has to depend on selling kittens for a living. Seriously Katrin Machetanz if you're reading this, get a real job & stop exploiting kittens!

I want to share also my side of the story ... ! For all wich have read the side from Mei , it will be important for you also that i have tell Mei before sending the boy to USA that he have a problem wich is for sure not gen. , but we are not sure if it will come ok or not !
If not i have tell her that she would become a replacement for free !
She was agree with that ...(No, Katrin lied that the kitten was in fantastic condition, could have bowel movement normally. She mentioned he had some problem with bowel movement before, but said it was gone, & was only due to long hair stick to his anus. She lied he had no problem anymore & if he really showed problem again she would pay for vet costs & send free replacement. Hence I trusted her & sent her final payment)

After the arrivel from Eye Catcher , Mei have attack me and tell that i`m a unethical breeder (yes the night of arrival, I was shocked to see the truth, kitten could not make bowel movement, anus opening was stuck with poo, we had to wear gloves to help him remove poo 3 times that night)..it was not possible anymore to find a way together ..after lots of up and down ..i have import the boy back for the price wich have Mei ask from me by Paypal ..
She also have done a Contract for me that i have to pay the money back to her and i have do it like she have want !
We was finsih with that in middle of July ..and now Mei come suddenly on the idea that i have to pay another 600 Euro if not she want to go and cheat me ..
The true is ..this 600 Euro she say is for vet and shipping .. but i have already pay for this.. (No, the 600 euro for shipping from Germany to USA, & some vet cost she had not paid. She paid only the 980 USD for shipping back to germany/ last vet visit for health certificate)
I have copy now all payments for this peoples wich not believe in me ..

It was a big foult from me to think it is ok to send Mei the boy .. , but we all make some things wrong .. dont we do ? (Recently I have received messages on fb about Katrin sending sick kittens to others, this is not her first time. Eye Catcher had such a serious defect that was supposed to require lots of medical treatment/ surgery or euthanasia, yet Katrin dare to lie & send him all the way to USA...then asked me to put him to sleep, was a kitten's well-being a joke to her?) !
And i have pay for my foult completly back and much more than this ..

Truth revealed about Eye Catcher's illness
I was contacted by a reliable source (an experienced Germany breeder who had cat sale & personal contact with Katrin, but now does not want to be associated with Katrin Machetanz anymore due to Katrin's unethical practice of selling sick cats) about what truly happened.
The reliable source/breeder told me what Katrin told her personally.
Here is the true story :
Eye Catcher's anal sphincter was destroyed because he had poo sealing his anus for a few days due to Katrin's lack of care & attention to the kitten. The sphincter was not repaired. After Katrin took EC to the animal hospital, they wanted to euthanize him.
Katrin took him back and went to a village veterinarian. The village vet said the sphincter would heal, & that's what Katrin wanted to hear. She shipped the kitten to USA...After the kitten was sent back from USA, Katrin put Eye Catcher to sleep. Reason was his pooping habits made the room dirty & Katrin saw no point to continue keeping him.

100 euro vet fee during EC's stay) . She claimed she paid them but it's not true.
She paid only his shipping from US back to Germany & final vet visit for health certificate for flying back (total of 980 USD, which she paid in two installments 500USD +480USD) .

Poor Eye Catcher had such a tragic fate. Katrin lied that she would provide kitten a good home & help him with his pooping problem after he returned to her. She stated that she's not working this year & hence can stay home all the time to look after her cats. But according to the reliable source/ breeder, Katrin took EC for euthanasia soon after he was returned to Germany because he kept making the room dirty with his poo. According to US vets, they said it would take about 6 months to heal if the damage were reversible. Poor EC was not given the chance to live longer to see if his sphincter/ muscle could heal.

More about Katrin's unethical breeder practice
- Katrin is lying to others that I knew about kitten's defect & could not wait to receive kitten, therefore she sent a sick kitten. How does this even make sense? Why would I want to suffer to take care a sick kitten?
- She claimed kitten condition being "fantastic" & she was very happy about him. Fantastic to me means general health, but after I got the kitten & knew his defect, I emailed Katrin immediately telling her she was unethical breeder. She twisted the meaning "fantastic" to only outer appearance, & his coat.
- The month Eye Catcher stayed with me, I followed vet's advice to give kitten soft food to make his poo come out easier (his rectal muscle was defective). Because of kitten's defect, he failed to gain weight. After sending kitten back, Katrin accused me of starving the kitten because he did not gain any weight. Keep in mind that because of his health issue, it was almost impossible for him to grow normally as other kittens. And after a long flight, of course kitten would appear more hungry.
- She still owes me the cost of shipping from Germany to US & medical fee but she is refusing to pay.

Planet Love Cattery Scam -- Pictures of Planet Love's Eye Catcher
Picture (below) later revealed by Katrin Machetanz, the breeder. The defect was there on Mar 4 2011 before he came to the U.S. as shown on picture. If I had seen this picture below, I would never agree to receive the kitten. All along, Katrin only sent pictures of kitten's face but did not show the defect.
Note: Eye Catcher was from breeding of Davikatz Timeless of Planet Love & Meibels Princess of Planet Love, beware of this breeding pair
Katrin lied that the kitten was in fantastic condition & hence I agreed to pay the rest of the money. After kitten came to the U.S. from Germany, Katrin twisted the term "fantastic" to mean only his face, his coat.
Katrin suggested us to put Eye Catcher down multiple times & unwilling to help with medical cost.
